Lake Mills Campus

The Little Woodland Preschool journey began at our Lake Mills campus, a cherished early childhood center originally founded in 2013 and thoughtfully purchased by Aaron and Kelsi Sykes in early 2020. Located in the heart of downtown Lake Mills on Main Street, this flagship location became the foundation for what would grow into a thriving network of Little Woodland Preschools. With a shared passion for Montessori principles, Reggio Emilia-inspired creativity, and a deep commitment to outdoor, play-based learning, Aaron and Kelsi set out to reimagine what early education could look like—child-centered, nature-connected, and full of wonder.

Since then, our Lake Mills campus has become a model for excellence in early learning, embodying our belief that every child deserves a nurturing, inspiring environment to explore, grow, and thrive. We’re proud to continue serving the greater Lake Mills community and beyond, bringing our unique educational approach to more families each year—one joyful, curious child at a time.
