Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Brooklyn
At Little Woodland Preschool our staff starts to feel like they are a part of your family. We want to put a spotlight on those staff members so you can get to know each of them a bit more, and why they are so passionate about teaching your children at LWP.
Here is a little about Ms. Brooklyn:
What classroom are you in at LWP?
I work in the toddler classroom with the 1-2 year olds.
What is your education pertaining to early childhood education?
I have my Lead and Assistant Teacher certifications.
What is your favorite thing about Little Woodland or something that makes a day great?
I love to see all the happy faces of the kids and teachers.
Tell us about your favorite activity to do in the classroom?
I love to help teach my kids to learn to walk and get messy with sensory activities.
When you are not at LWP what are your favorite things to do?
I like to hangout with my family, get outside, and occasionally go shopping when I feel up to it.
Share with us a little about your family.
I am 20 years old and I am continuing my schooling as I work to obtain my Early Childhood Education degree. I love being outside when the weather is nice. I recently just moved out on my own into an apartment with my boyfriend and new puppy.
Do you have any pets?
I just got a new puppy. His name is Bullet.
What/Who Inspires you?
There is so much around me that inspires me to be better each day.
What is your favorite teaching quote or philosophy?

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would travel to Florida. I have family there, it would be great to visit and also enjoy the
weather.
